Ashfield District Council has announced the dates for their collections of real Christmas trees for recycling.

Residents who would like to avoid the hassle of disposing of their real trees can simply book a collection and leave the tree outside their property on the morning in which their area is being done.

Trees will be collected from properties in Hucknall on Wednesday 11 January.

They will be collected from Sutton on Monday 9 January, Kirkby on Tuesday 10 January, and from the Rurals on Thursday 12 January.

Collections can be booked by clicking here or alternatively by emailing [email protected].

Residents are advised that tress should be out ready for collection by 6am on the morning of the collection date and that any trees that are over 6ft tall must be cut down.
