Ashfield District Council Elections: A complete list of who is standing in Hucknall in May

The final list of candidates standing in the Ashfield District Council elections on Thursday 4 May has been released.

As was the case four years ago there are ten seats to be won in Hucknall: three in Hucknall North; three in Hucknall West; and two each in Hucknall South and Hucknall Central.

Lauren Mitchell and Keir Morrison who both currently represent Hucknall South for the Labour Party have opted not to stand for re-election. They have been contacted for comment.

Chris Baron who represents Hucknall West for The Conservative Party has decided to stand in the Jacksdale and Westwood Ward this time around.

Three of the current Ashfield Independent councillors are standing in different Wards to the ones they represent.

Lee Waters who currently represents Hucknall North is standing in Hucknall Central. Dave Shaw who also represents Hucknall North is standing in Hucknall West. Finally, Trevor Locke who represents Hucknall Central is standing in Hucknall South on this occasion.
