A former Hucknall bar is now on the rental market.

The premises on High Street, which for ten years was H2O Lounge and Bar, is being marketed by CPA and Associates Ltd.

On the company's site it says: "Offers are invited in the region of £30,000 per annum exclusive of VAT, utilities, and business rates."

The venue opened ten years ago as a sports bar that also showcased live music.

More recently, it underwent an image change in May last year as its final owners, engaged couple Tavis Beresford and Jay Willows, attempted to reinvent the venue as a café/bistro with a family orientated feel. They did this by launching a delicious tapas and street food menu as well as cancelling their sports subscriptions.

However, just five months later, in October, the sudden, shock closure of H2O was announced, "Due to the ongoing and continuing decline in the industry and the lack of visitors due to the cost of living…"

The building has since been empty but now that it is on the market there is renewed hope that it will soon become a functioning business again.
