Hucknall's local policing team (NPT) conducted a Fatal 4 Op around the town this morning (Thursday 9 September 2021).

A Fatal 4 Op consists of looking for motorists who are: speeding; driving whilst using their mobile phone; not wearing their seatbelts; or driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs.

Officers gave out five tickets to drivers for speeding. Two of the culprits were caught doing top speeds of 38mph in a 30mph area.

A post on Ashfield Police's Facebook page read: "This is 5 speedy drivers too many, especially around school times! Please SLOW DOWN."

Members of the Hucknall NPT are now out on foot patrol around Mill Lakes and Titchfield Park.
