Hucknall firefighters called to minor RTC in Kirkby-in-Ashfield

A crew from Hucknall Fire Station were one of four that attended a minor road traffic collision in Kirkby in Ashfield this morning.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to an incident this morning at 10:06am on High Crescent, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Crews from Hucknall, Ashfield, Eastwood and Highfields Fire Station attended.

"Upon arrival crews saw an elderly male in a car, which had gone into the front of his property. EMAS assisted and treated the male on scene however he wasn't taken to hospital. The scene and property was left with Ashfield District Council."
