Hucknall's second food and drink festival will take place this Sunday (21 November).

Following the huge success of the first ever Hucknall Food and Drink Festival in August , Ashfield District Council had little hesitation in bringing a second festival to the town before Christmas.

Ashfield District Council, with partners Discover Ashfield and Lincoln Green Brewery, are hosting the festival from 10am – 4pm. There are over 25 stalls lined up, selling a variety of artisan food, drinks, produce and gifts, with many of the popular traders from the first festival returning. New traders include Blondie Brownie, Chillibobs, Spicee, RD Catering and Heart of Sicily.

There will be food gifts available from Personalise-it-4-me who offer personalised laser engraved gifts, and gift-wrapped wines from Pretty Screwed.

Councillor Jason Zadrozny, Leader of Ashfield District Council, said "We were overwhelmed with the support that Hucknall showed for the first Food and Drink Festival. Over 4000 people attended the event and almost all traders sold out within a few hours which demonstrates the quality of the goods on offer.

"The upcoming Food and Drink Festival will be following a summer of fantastic free events that the Council organised this year.

"We take pride in hosting free community events that the whole family can enjoy, and the Welcome Back Fund has allowed us to do this again.

"It was incredible to see so many people supporting the high street and local businesses and I look forward to seeing you all at this next one!"
