Hucknall shop run by church volunteers to hold a series of open days this week

A Hucknall based shop run by volunteers from local churches in Hucknall, Linby and Papplewick is holding four open evenings this week.

Engage Gifts on Watnall Road will open from 6pm until 8pm from Monday to Thursday (1-4 November).

The shop stocks a range of gifts such as toys, Christian books, handmade jewellery, and artwork.

A spokesperson for Engage Gifts, said: "As a volunteer run venture, our usual opening hours are limited. However, this week of open evenings gives everyone a chance to browse our products and get their cards and presents for Christmas.

"At Engage Gifts we stock a range of beautiful, unique, and handmade products including jewellery, artwork and crafts.

"Many of our products are either Fairtrade, ethical or made by local artists. As well as gifts, cards, and wrap, we also offer a Fairtrade food, toys, children's books, and Christian books.

"Engage Gifts is a social enterprise, and all profits are used for local community projects."
