There will not be any tram services in Nottingham tomorrow due to industrial action by the GMB union.

The dispute over pay between the union and NET resulted in a ballot in which members voted to carry out strike action.

This action has left NET unable to operate any services throughout Saturday 6 November.

In response, a range of measures have been put in place by NET to help reduce inconvenience to customers. These include the acceptance of tram tickets on Trent Barton's Rainbow One, Threes and Indigo buses as well as all NCT services.

The measures will be in place from 21.30pm on Friday (5 November) as it will take some time for services to be wound down ahead of the start of industrial action at midnight.

A statement from NET said: "We are sorry for the inconvenience for customers, and we will resume services from 06.00 on Sunday morning."

However, despite the lack of tram services, the complimentary shuttle bus for the Nottingham Forest match on Saturday will operate as normal from outside Nottingham Station before and after the game.
