Hucknall Town have announced their pre-season schedule with a number of local mouth watering friendlies to prepare themselves for their league campaign.

The Yellows will play a total of five home friendlies in the month of July with each game open to fans and very reasonably priced. Adults will pay just £3 to watch the side whilst for children entry will be £1 with concessions tickets priced in between at £2.

Hucknall will begin by hosting Carlton Town on Thursday 1st July. The Millers, managed by former Town boss Tommy Brookbanks, should prove challenging opposition as they play two steps higher in the football pyramid.

Two days later Town entertain Derbyshire Dales side Cromford & Wirksworth Town before matches against Eastwood and Sandiacre Town, respectively. The Yellows' final game of the month will be on the 24th July against, as yet, unnamed opponents.

Sandwiched between the Sandiacre game and the final home friendly will be away trips to Blidworth, Redcar and Heanor Town as Hucknall look to get as much pre-season mileage under their belts as possible.

Hucknall will then begin their United Counties Division One season in August in what, as reported earlier this week by Nub News , could be their final season at Watnall Road.

The full pre-season fixture list is as follows:

July 1st (H) v Carlton Town

July 3rd (H) v Cromford

July 7th (H) v Eastwood

July 10th (H) v Sandiacre Town

July 14th (A) v Blidworth

July 17th (A) v Redcar

July 21st (A) v Heanor Town

July 24th (H) v TBC
