Hucknall tram passengers are facing delays to their journeys due to an issue between Hucknall and Moor Bridge.

There had been no service between the stops this morning and as a result East Midlands Railway had been accepting tram tickets and passes between Hucknall and Bulwell train stations on the Robin Hood Line.

However, in the last few minutes, NET, who run the tram network across Nottingham, confirmed that they are now running a shuttle service.

In a statement NET said: "We are now running a shuttle service between Moor Bridge and Hucknall.

"Customers travelling Southbound towards Toton Lane can use the shuttle tram between Hucknall and Moor Bridge and can then continue their journey by Tram.

"Customers travelling northbound towards Hucknall will need to alight at Moor Bridge to use the shuttle tram to reach Hucknall.

"Please allow a little extra time for your journey. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

For up to date travel information regarding the tram network, see here.
