Hucknall's vaccination centre is operating a walk-in service for Covid-19 booster vaccines this afternoon (Tuesday 14 December).

The centre, which is based at Rolls Royce Leisure Club on Watnall Road, is still vaccinating people who have booked appointments for today.

However, alongside them, it is inviting people who are eligible to have the booster jab to drop into the centre between 2pm and 6pm to receive their vaccine.

Anyone aged 18 and over who have had their second dose at least 91 days earlier meets the criteria to receive a booster jab.

Residents who are unable to attend the centre this afternoon and are aged 30 or over can make a booking for a more convenient date and time online by clicking here.

People aged between 18 and 29 years old can book online from tomorrow (Wednesday 15 December).

However, anyone who has had a positive Covid test will need to wait four weeks, or 28 days, before getting the booster.
