The Arc Cinema in Hucknall will host its first ever big screen video game tournament later this month.
Players will be pitted against each other on the Playstation 4 game Dragon Ball FighterZ which is regarded as one of the best fighter games on that generation of console having sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.
The event will be held on Tuesday 16 August to promote the new 'Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero' movie, which will be released the next day (Wednesday 17 August).
There will be a kid's tournament at 3pm and an adult's tournament at 7pm, with 32 places in each.
An entry charge is in place but every penny of this will go into the prize pot which will see the winner of the kid's tournament receive £100 in cash, and the adult winner receive £200. There will also be prizes for the runners up.
As places in the tournament are limited anyone interested in participating is advised to book a ticket as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
