Here at Hucknall Nub News we'd like to take the time to wish all of our readers a Merry Christmas!

We continue to be humbled by the support that the website has received since it started in June.

Hucknall became the first town in Nottinghamshire to become a 'Nub News town' after being identified as somewhere that hadn't received much press coverage in recent years.

In a such a short space of time, the people of Hucknall have warmed to the hyperlocal philosophy behind Nub News which has meant it hasn't taken long for us to establish a loyal readership.

We look forward to continuing to serve the town into 2022 and beyond.

Until then, we hope you have a wonderful Christmas filled with the people and things you hold most dear.

Stay safe and enjoy the festivities.
