The mobile vaccination bus will make its second visit to Hucknall on Tuesday (31 August).
The bus will be at Piggins Croft Car Park from 10am until 2pm and will be for drop-in appointments only. This means if you are eligible to have a Coronavirus vaccination then all that will be required is for you to turn up on the day.
The move comes as Ashfield District, which includes Hucknall, found itself with one of the highest rates of Coronavirus cases according to figures from Public Health England last week.
Figures released earlier this month also revealed that the number of residents who were doubly vaccinated in Hucknall Central was nearly 20% lower than other areas of the county such as West Bridgford.
The bus previously visited Hucknall on Monday 16 August and was situated in Tesco Extra Car Park on Ashgate Road as reported by Nub News .
Speaking exclusively to Hucknall Nub News, Councillor Jason Zadrozny, leader of Ashfield District Councillor said: "I think it's really clear that Ashfield still remains in the top ten highest places for Covid and though we feel we might have turned a corner, in our area we haven't. We owe it to all those people who aren't here with us to just make sure we get over that line. So if you've not had a vaccination I please urge you to get it done not just for yourself but for all those friends and family that might be vulnerable, so that we can finally beat this spectre of a disease that's been plaguing us for the last 18 months or so."
Councillor John Wilmott who represents Hucknall North added: "Please, please if you haven't been inoculated, please come to the bus and get the opportunity to be inoculated because it's absolutely essentially."
