No injuries in Hucknall High Street electrical fire

Fire crews were called to an electrical fire in Hucknall High Street this afternoon; no one was hurt.

The fire was on the premises of the Dragon Wonder Chinese takeaway. Police closed the road whilst the fire crews tackled the blaze.

In a statement, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to reports of a fire on the high street in Hucknall today (16/07/21) at 15:19. Crews from Hucknall, Arnold, and Ashfield were in attendance. Two firefighters in BA (breathing apparatus) used extinguishers and a thermal imaging camera to tackle an electrical fire."
