With less than two weeks until Christmas Day, Hucknall Nub News is asking readers to nominate and send in pictures of the best Christmas lights in the town to spread a bit of festive cheer and local pride.

Nominations will be posted on our Facebook page and readers will be able to vote for their favourites.

Entries can be submitted from today (Wednesday 14 December). Local residents can either send in a photograph of their own lights or suggest a display to us. The lights can be in Hucknall or any of the surrounding villages such as Linby, Papplewick, Annesley or Newstead as we want everyone to feel included.

We will post the pictures on our Facebook page in the run up to Christmas and see which one gets the most likes.

Anyone wishing to join in with a bit of Christmas themed fun can send their nominated picture in by email to [email protected].
