Nottinghamshire County Council is celebrating the third anniversary of the MyNotts app which provides local residents with instant access to council services via their smartphone.
Launched in January 2020 with fourteen council services available, this has risen significantly to over 70 services and has also surpassed 25,000 downloads.
The most frequently visited services on the app are highways, waste and recycling, jobs, and schools.
Residents in Hucknall and across the county can use the app to report potholes, faulty streetlights and also apply for their child's primary and secondary school place.
As of December 2022, there have been a total of 374,095 visitors to the app; 8367 Highway reports made, and, an active user network totalling 2300 per month.
Speaking about the app, Councillor Ben Bradley MP, the Leader of the County Council, said: "It's great to see the app is still going strong into its third year and that residents can access vital council services quickly and efficiently through their smartphone. It's convenient, easy to use and only takes a few moments to find the information they are looking for.
"As for the future of the app, we will continue to listen to user feedback and always look for new ways to improve access to services.
"A Cost Of Living section has recently been added to help residents access information and support to help manage financial pressures and look after their general wellbeing. I encourage anybody who hasn't got the app to download it."
Users of the MyNotts app can also access the latest news from the council and receive push notifications that will alert them about council services.
The app is available to download for free on the Android and Apple stores or on the Council's webpage which can be accessed by clicking here.
