Police appealing for witnesses after man hospitalised following road traffic collision in Hucknall

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was taken to hospital following a road traffic collision earlier today (Wednesday 11 May) in Hucknall; his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Following the incident, which happened on High Leys Road this afternoon, police closed Watnall Road for around two hours whilst they investigated and cleared the scene.

Inspector Matt Scott, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike this afternoon (Wednesday 11 May) on High Leys Road, Hucknall, at around 2.20pm.

"A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital following the collision and is being treated for injuries that are currently not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

 "We would ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has any information or dash cam footage that could assist us to please contact the police."
