This morning's Rattle, Rhyme and Roll class at Hucknall Library has been cancelled.
The class which operates every Thursday from 11:00am until 11:30am is run by Nottinghamshire County Council.
The relaxed, friendly, free rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers are hugely popular. They are described as ideal for introducing children to the library environment and give parents the chance to connect with each other.
On social media, Inspire which operates the County's libraries on the council's behalf, issued a short statement about the cancellation this morning.
It read: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Rattle, Rhyme and Roll at Hucknall Library is cancelled this morning, Thursday 18 May. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
It is thought that the class will return next week.
