Trent Barton have confirmed that they will be making changes to their Friday and Saturday night timetables from next week.
The announcement comes in the wake of the government's decision to lift lockdown decisions from Monday 19th July.
This includes revised Friday and Saturday night journeys being reinstated on the threes which link Hucknall to both Nottingham and Mansfield.
Currently, on a Saturday evening, the last bus from Mansfield has been leaving at 11:06 and terminating at Vine Terrace in Hucknall at midnight. Whilst in the other direction, the last bus to leave Victoria Bus Station has departed at midnight and arrived in Hucknall between 12:20am and 12:30am.
This is in stark contrast to before the Coronavirus pandemic when the buses would still be running at 3am.
On their website, the company stated: "With Government lifting lockdown restrictions from Monday 19 July, pubs, clubs, theatres and cinemas will be allowed to operate without capacity limits and nightclubs will be allowed to reopen.
"To cope with the extra demand for evening journeys, we will be reinstating Friday and Saturday night journeys across the vast majority of our network from Sunday 18 July."
Timetables are set to be available shortly. For more information click here .
