A Hucknall man who went missing on Tuesday evening (1 February) has been found safe, police have confirmed.

James Allan, 36, was reported missing from Hucknall, having last been seen at 7pm on Tuesday.

Members of the public had been asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 778 of 01/02/2022, or if they saw James, to keep him in view and call 999 immediately.

However, a statement posted on Nottinghamshire Police's Facebook page a short while ago, said: "James has now been located. Many thanks to all who commented and shared our appeal."
