Things to do

Films are shown from 2:00pm today at The Arc Cinema. Friday is market day in Hucknall, meaning the town centre will be filled with a range of stalls selling fresh produce and more. Traffic

Albert Street is closed due to resurfacing work.

There are roadworks at the junction of Papplewick Lane and Moor Road.

There are temporary traffic lights on Nottingham Road.

The M1, which reopened yesterday afternoon, is currently clear at Junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.

Hucknall MP Mark Spencer is under pressure after his department was named by a senior Conservative MP in relation to allegations of blackmail. Nottinghamshire County Council conceded in yesterday's (Thursday 20 January) full council meeting that the repair of a Hucknall road was 'unacceptable.' Fun fact of the day:
