Things to do

Films are shown from 2:00pm today at The Arc Cinema. Friday is market day in Hucknall, meaning the town centre will be filled with a range of stalls selling fresh produce and more. Traffic

Albert Street is closed due to resurfacing work.

There are roadworks at the junction of Papplewick Lane and Moor Road.

There are temporary traffic lights on Nottingham Road.

There are roadworks and temporary traffic lights on the corner of Broomhill Road and Farleys Lane.

The M1, which reopened yesterday afternoon, is currently clear at Junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.

The new changing village has opened at Hucknall Leisure Centre. Ashfield District Council has commissioned three short films to be made by local residents to showcase the history of the District. They can be viewed online or from next week, by using the QR codes on the board next to the Ada Lovelace plaque on Hucknall High Street. Fun fact of the day:
