General knowledge pub quiz at The Bowman on Nottingham Road from 7pm. Quiz night at The Nabb Inn from 8pm. Traffic

Albert Street is closed due to resurfacing work.

The M1 is clear at Junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.

In case you missed it:

A driver was taken to hospital after colliding with a tree in Hucknall on Monday night. His injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening. Nottinghamshire County Council has admitted that it breached the rules by appointing a former Hucknall County Councillor. Fun fact of the day:

Tea bags were an accidental invention.
