Rattle, Rhyme and Roll sessions: relaxed, friendly rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers at the library on South Street from 10:30am-11am. Films are shown from 12:40pm today at The Arc Cinema. Karaoke night at The Plough and Harrow on Hucknall High Street from 8pm. General knowledge pub quiz at The Bowman on Nottingham Road from 7pm. Quiz night at The Nabb Inn from 8pm. Traffic

Albert Street is closed due to resurfacing work.

The M1 is clear at Junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.

Hucknall Town were victorious in their league match against Gedling Miners Welfare on Tuesday evening (4 January) despite being reduced to ten men with over half an hour to go. Residents living near Holgate Primary School have voiced their frustration at how parents park when picking up and dropping off their children at the start and end of the school day. Fun fact of the day:
