The M1 is clear at Junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.
There are temporary traffic lights on Nottingham Road.

Ashfield District Council has opted not to scrap the Local Plan which would see 3000 houses built on greenbelt. However, it won't do anything else until the government confirm whether they are going to alter the housing targets. Fun fact of the day:Today is Republic Day in India, a national holiday to celebrate the date, in 1950, when the country's constitution came into effect.
