Every Thursday we'll bring you our top picks of what to do in Hucknall over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

  1. Nottingham Transport Museum open weekend.
The museum located on Portland Road in Hucknall opens its doors for the second time since the pandemic began, this weekend (Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October) with an opportunity to look around their collection of buses that span over 50 years of transport heritage. Free bus rides are available and there are book shops and a model shop to peruse too. Entry is free; donations welcome.

  1. Live music at The Byron's Rest.
King of Rome play live from 7:30pm on Saturday at The Byron's Rest on Baker Street.

  1. Live Opera at The Arc Cinema.
Fire Shut Up in My Bones (Blanchard) – New Production

The cinema once again broadcasts live opera from The Metropolitan Opera Company based in New York. The performance starts at 5:55pm on Saturday.

Tickets are priced at £17.95 for adults and £16.95 for seniors.
