As more and more events are being organised locally, Nub News is launching a new weekly roundup of what's on in Hucknall each weekend.

Every Thursday we'll bring you our top picks of what to do in Hucknall over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

  1. Halloween Bash at George Street WMC.
The party runs for 12 hours on Friday 29 October from 11am until 11pm. There are fancy dress competitions and lots of games for children to keep them entertained as half-term draws to a close.

'The Shots' play live from 7:30pm on Saturday at The Byron's Rest on Baker Street.

  1. Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone 20th anniversary screening at The Arc Cinema.
To mark 20 years since Harry Potter made its big screen debut, The Arc Cinema will be doing special screenings of the first film on Friday and Saturday.
