General knowledge pub quiz at The Bowman on Nottingham Road from 7pm.

Quiz night at The Nabb Inn from 8pm.

Traffic

There aren't any major traffic issues in Hucknall this morning and the M1 is clear at Junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.

Ashfield District Council has branded the Coronation event a success as hundreds of residents attended Hucknall's Titchfield Park to watch the historic occasion.

Fun fact of the day:

Sir Neville Chamberlain (not to be confused with the prime minister of the same name) is credited with inventing the game of snooker whilst he was serving in the military in India in 1875.
