Here is all the information on when to catch the latest films this coming week at The Arc Cinema in Hucknall.

This week is the first full week of director Sam Mendes' new film Empire of Light which was released on Monday (9 January) and is set in an English seaside town in the early 1980s. It is a powerful and poignant story about human connection and the magic of cinema.

There are still plenty of opportunities to see the second Avatar film, 'The Way of Water'. It is the first time the cinema will be showing a film in 3D. The sequel sees Jake Sully living with his newfound family formed on the planet of Pandora. Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na'vi race to protect their planet.

Also, 'A Man Called Otto' is still being shown regularly. The film sees a grumpy widower (played by Tom Hanks), whose only joy comes from criticising and judging his exasperated neighbours, meet his match when a lively young family moves in next door, leading to an unexpected friendship that will turn his world upside-down.
