Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1.     Hucknall Community Day, Hucknall Market Place.

Held by the Rotary Club this Saturday (21 May), from 10am-3pm, there will be live entertainment as well as stalls selling cakes, books and sweets as local residents celebrate all things Hucknall.

2.     Harrier House's First Birthday Celebrations, Harrier House, Hurricane Road, Hucknall.

On Saturday (21 May) from 1pm-3pm Harrier House is holding an afternoon of live entertainment and food and drink in celebration of their first birthday.

3.     Lovelace Theatre Group's performance of Grease, John Godber Centre, Ogle Street.

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening (19-21 May), Lovelace Theatre Group perform the musical 'Grease' live.

4. Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Charity's Open Day, Portland Road, Hucknall.

This Sunday (22 May), Nottingham Heritage Vehicles opens up its doors to the public to allow them to view their impressive range of classic vehicles which tell the story of Nottingham's transport history. There is an opportunity to have a vintage bus ride around the local area too.
