Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1.     Community Coffee Morning, Byron's Rest, Baker Street.

The micropub opens its doors to the community on Friday (1 July) from 10am until 1pm serving free tea and coffee. All are welcome.

2.     Mindset for Success, Hucknall Library, South Street.

On Friday, from 10:30am until 2:30pm, Hucknall Library hosts a 'Mindset for Success' course that focuses on using positivity and self-empowerment as an approach to daily life. The course costs £12 but there is an eligibility criteria for getting on the course for free or having support to fund it.

3.     Byron Northern Soul Club, The John Godber Centre, Ogle Street.

From 7:00pm until midnight on Saturday evening (2 July) there is a Byron night, featuring quality guest DJs picked for their outstanding record collections and ability to appeal to the feet and ears of our crowd. Tickets cost £5 on the door.
