Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1.     Soul and Motown Night at Royal British Legion, Beardall Street.

On Friday night The Legion on Beardall Street hosts a Soul and Motown evening from 6pm until late.

2.     Family Disco, George Street WMC.

On Friday night George Street hosts another children's party filled with games, sweets and music.

3.     Hucknall Town v St Andrews, Watnall Road.

On Saturday afternoon Hucknall Town play their first home league game of the season as they welcome St Andrews to Watnall Road. Kick-off is at 3pm.
