Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1.     Drag Night at Griffins Head, Moor Road, Papplewick.

The first main event of the weekend is right on the doorstep of Hucknall, in the village of Papplewick. On Friday night, from 7:30pm there is a live drag night featuring vocal drag artist Bella End. Tickets are £5 each with prosecco served on arrival.

2.     All Age Worship, St Mary's, Marketplace, Hucknall.

On Sunday morning at 11am there is a service of praise for all the family at the Parish church.

3.     The North Notts Artists, Makers and Fine Foods Market, John Godber Centre, Ogle Street.

From 10am until 2pm there is an artisan market with over 26 stallholders boasting quality art, pottery, jewellery, textiles and food and drink. There is no charge to get into the market.
