Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
1. Final weekend of Nottingham Cask Ale week, Half Moon, South Street, Hucknall.
Visit Half Moon in Hucknall during the weekend and enjoy a glass of cask ale where available and support the British pub industry and local brewers.
2. Ravenshead Theatre Group's performance of Frankenstein, Ravenshead Village Hall.
On the doorstep of Hucknall, in Ravenshead, the local theatre group perform an adaptation of the classic Mary Shelley gothic novel on Saturday evening (1 October). Doors open at 7pm and the performance begins at 7:30pm.
3. Service of Hope and Remembrance, Church of St Mary Magdalene.
A 45 minute service on Sunday (2 October) evening from 6pm for recently bereaved families in the parish.
