Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
1. Live music, Griffins Head, Papplewick.
On Friday (16 December), from 8:30pm, there will be live music at the Griffins Head pub in Papplewick; there won't be an entry fee.
2. The Station Market, The Station Hotel, Hucknall.
On Saturday afternoon (17 December), from 4:30pm until 8:30pm, The Station Hotel is hosting its very own Christmas market. There will be a great variety of small local businesses that will be selling their products that may help with a bit of last minute Christmas shopping.

On Saturday evening (17 December) from 7:30 until 9:30 the annual Torkard concert will take place. There will be all sorts of music, form Handel to the Muppets, as well as some well-known Christmas songs to sing along with. Tickets are £5 (under 18s with an adult are free). All profits go to Sharewear Clothing Scheme.
