Hucknall's Ashfield Independent Councillors have labelled e-scooters in Hucknall as a 'menace' and 'a danger to the public.'

The Government are currently trialling e-scooters in some major cities including Nottingham. The Councillors believe that the government trial in nearby Nottingham has 'exacerbated' the problem with many confused about the legality of using them in places like Hucknall.

Nottinghamshire County Council, in partnership with Veolia, will be running a Notts Recycles Go Green for September Campaign. This is a month-long campaign based on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle messages to celebrate both Zero Waste Week (6-10 September) and National Recycle Week (20-26 September).

The challenge will run from 1 to 30 September 2021 and offers residents the opportunity to sign up and join the fight against climate change.
