Hucknall Town Football Club have confirmed the signing of three players as well as a raft of retentions.

Jon Jebbison and Louis Czerwak have joined the club whilst Niall Towle has rejoined after a successful spell with the side in the second half of last season.

Striker Jebbison joins from Radford having scored 15 goals in all competitions last term.

Czerwak, who came through the Notts County academy, should provide some additional creativity from the wing.

Whilst Towle, who joined The Yellows in March, has agreed to extend his stay having made a noticeable impact at the end of the campaign, contributing 4 goals in just 9 appearances.

Manager Andy Ingle was pleased to get the three signings over the line relatively quickly.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "Knowing Jon was available and wanting to talk to us was all we needed to know!

"Not only does he have the experience we need, but he adds to the change in dynamic up front. He's a strong, powerful player that will both provide and score goals. He's very direct in his approach in the final thirds, and we look forward to working with him.

"With Niall, although he could have been on the retained list, we were just so happy that he agreed to stay. It will literally be like a new signing! We will get him fit and ready to score goals, because he wants to be with us despite all of the interest he has had. We are excited for him and the club for what looks to be part of an exciting forward line.

"And finally with Louis, we are very excited to have him join us. I know him very well and he's a very exciting player.

"With the ability and attitude that he has, I am sure he will make a positive impact on the team."

As well as the new signings, a total of 15 members of last season's promotion winning squad have agreed to stay at The RM Stadium for the 2023/24 campaign.

These include captain Aaron Short, Manager's player of the year Jamie Crawford, influential midfielder Joe Ashurst, and creative attacker Aaron Lamb.
