Hucknall Town Football Club has announced details of its end of season awards presentation night.

The event will take place at the club's new RM Stadium for the very first time on Friday (19 May) evening from 7pm.

It will celebrate the success and achievements of the club's first team, reserves, and Sunday senior side.

The club has confirmed that all are welcome and that the event will be free of charge. As well as the awards there will be a disco and hot buffet.

On the pitch, Hucknall Town's first team enjoyed tremendous success. Under an all new management team of Andy Ingle and former player Michael Banister, The Yellows gained promotion via the playoffs.

Having finished fourth in the final Uhlsport United Counties Division One league table, they defeated Bourne Town, who'd finished one place above them in the table, on penalties, following a 1-1 draw.

They then followed this up with another shootout victory over Birstall United, again after a 1-1 draw in regular time. They held their nerve to score all five penalties which, coupled with an outstanding save from Louis Kinnerley to deny Birstall's Paul Pallett, saw them clinch a much coveted promotion to step 5 of the non-league pyramid next year.
