Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great line-up of comedians to The Griffins Head, Papplewick.

Following the launch last month, Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great line-up of comedians to The Griffins Head, Papplewick on Thursday May 12th.

Topping the bill is the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV's Britain's Got Talent 2017 and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition! Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.

Opening the night will be Presenter, Broadcaster, Writer, Actor and Comedian Ian Stone. An International comedian, including performing for the troops, he has made numerous TV and Radio appearances including 'Mock The Week', 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and 'Saturday Live'. He wrote for 'The Omid Djalili show' on BBC1, 'The Sketch Show' on ITV and 'Alistair McGowan's Big Impression' on BBC 1. Audiences can't get enough of his edgy and challenging approach, which is supported by a relaxed and excusatory manner.

Completing the line-up is Paul Ricketts whose intelligent humour covers all aspects of life including racial, cultural and satirical subjects; he mixes this with odd stories of everyday lunacy to amuse the crowd. Compere for the night will be the cheeky and friendly Stevie Gray with his boundless energy and mix of news and comedy. £10 in advance.
