The defibrillator missing from Titchfield Park in Hucknall has been found.

Yesterday (Monday 8 August), Ashfield District Council took to social media to ask local residents for help to locate the missing piece of life-saving equipment.

Posting on Facebook, the council said: "The defibrillator on Titchfield Park, Hucknall is missing.

"There isn't any damage to the secure box it is stored in so we don't believe it has been stolen. It is likely that someone used the defib but then didn't know how to return it or forgot to replace it.

"The police and ambulance service can't identify the exact day or time that it was accessed."

Anyone with information was urged to contact Ashfield District Council via phone or direct message on the social networking site.

However, the post has now been updated and at the top it reads: "The defib has been located now and will be replaced as soon as possible".
