Hucknall Business Club has set a date for their second meeting.

The group, which met for the first time earlier this month at The Station Hotel, will meet on Thursday 10 March at the same venue.

At the first meeting, just under 20 businesses were represented. The evening gave each person an opportunity to network and find out about how they could work closely with or promote other businesses in the town of Hucknall.

Andy Middleton, who organised the event in his role as the head of the North Nottinghamshire arm of networking group Catena, said: "If you'd like to join us to promote your business and find out about other companies in Hucknall, then please come along. No need to book, just grab yourself a drink from the bar and come and join us."

Regional Editor of Hucknall Nub News, Tom Surgay said: "When I published an article about the previous meeting, there were a lot of comments on social media from business owners expressing an interest in joining the group. I want to stress that the group is looking to expand and is very much open to new members. Whether your business has a physical shop or is online only like Nub News, all are welcome, please come along if you're interested."

Further details of the event can be found here.
