A photographer from Hucknall is looking to identify two people she took a picture of nearly two years ago so that she can give them the only copy of the photograph.
Paige Phillips, took the photograph on Remembrance Sunday 2019 as part of a second year project she was working on during her studies at The University of Derby.
Speaking exclusively to Nub News she said: "This project was about communities coming together to celebrate such a momentous occasion. Coming from a military background myself Remembrance day has always been such a big part of my childhood. Seeing how important the day is to other people is heart warming."
The picture depicts a grandfather and granddaughter looking at wreaths that have been laid on the War Memorial at Titchfield Park.
Paige is now hoping that the people in the photograph will come forward so that they can have a permanent record of the precious family moment.
Miss Phillips said: "I came back across this photo whilst looking through some of my old sketchbooks. I decided to find the people in the photo as I can remember taking the photograph. The grandad was explaining things to his granddaughter. It made an impact on me at the time and I wanted to reunite the photograph with the people in it. The photograph itself is the only copy as it was taken on a film camera."
If you are, or know, the people in the photograph please contact Nub News through our Facebook page or by emailing [email protected] and we will put you in touch with Miss Phillips.
