Hucknall Town has announced the date for its end of season presentation night.

The event will take place at Watnall Road on Saturday 18 June and will run from 7pm until midnight.

The evening will celebrate the achievements of the First Team, Reserves and Sunday Team.

Entry is free of charge and the night will include a disco and buffet.

All involved with the football club will be hoping that the presentation evening will come hot on the heels of the First Team securing promotion.

Currently, Hucknall occupy fifth position, the final play-off place in the Uhlsport United Counties League Division One, with six games remaining following a particularly good recent run of form.

Speaking exclusively to Hucknall Nub News about the team's on field exploits, the club's match reporter, George Wilson said: "I think the team have performed very well across the season. There's been a lot of runs of successive wins which is what you need to get yourselves into the promotion mix, and ultimately they've managed that up to this point.

"I think provided Hucknall can continue to perform to the levels that they have done on a fairly regular basis this year they should finish within those play-off positions which is ultimately what the coaching staff and the team wanted to do at the start of the year.

"I think the fanbase is brilliant for the level. The support is really good. When they get behind them at Watnall Road, Andy Graves, the manager, has said it numerous times, it does give them that extra boost."

Hucknall Town continue their promotion push with a crunch game away at sixth place Aylestone Park FC tomorrow afternoon (Saturday 2 April).
