Train services on the Nottingham / Mansfield / Worksop route are now up and running following an incident earlier today in which a person was hit by a train between Mansfield and Worksop.

This had resulted in the line being closed whilst emergency services managed the incident.

However, shortly before 4pm the line reopened and trains are now therefore calling at Hucknall. The only alteration to the service is that most trains will now be formed of two coaches as opposed to three.

If you require further information about the service, visit East Midlands Railway's website here .
