Tram passengers can make a huge saving on annual adult season tickets if they purchase them before the end of this month.

Nottingham Express Transit (NET), who operate the network which runs a regular service to and from Hucknall, advertised the offer on Twitter at the start of the week.

The company tweeted: "New year, new offer!

"For a limited time we're giving our customers an absolute bargain with unlimited tram travel for just £1 a day.

"We're offering our annual adult season pass at just £365 a year - an offer only valid from 1st to 31st January 2023."

This means a saving of £220, as the tickets, which entitle customers to unlimited tram travel across the whole year, usually cost £585 each.
