A full service has resumed on the Nottingham tram network.

A problem with the overhead line had meant that trams were unable to run between Bulwell and The Forest hindering passengers who wanted to travel from Hucknall to the city centre.

Circular shuttle busses were in service and NCT buses were accepting tram tickets to help people get to their destinations.

The issue was fixed last night, and services resumed with delays.

NET, who operate the trams, tweeted last night: "The issue with our overhead line has been fixed. We are running to all destinations with delays to our timetable. NET apologise for any inconvenience caused to you and thank you for your patience."

This morning the trams are now running to the usual timetable and calling at every stop on the line.
