A popular Italian restaurant in Hucknall is currently up for sale.
Bella Mia, on Annesley Road, is being marketed by Business Agent Ernest Wilson and the asking price is £165,000.
They describe the business being for sale as: "A rare opportunity to acquire a well-established and highly regarded licensed Italian restaurant that is situated in a prominent location on the outskirts of Nottingham."
The business, which is opposite The National Church of England Academy, was formally The Malt Shovel pub. When that closed in 2011, the property was converted into a restaurant and has become a go to place for Hucknall diners over the last decade.
Restaurant review website Go Dine says: "Bella Mia in Hucknall near Nottingham is a divine restaurant offering the best of Italian cuisine. The eatery is ideal for couples looking for an indulgent and luxurious dining experience or groups seeking an ambient atmosphere to celebrate a special occasion."
On Ernest Wilson's website the description of the property reads: "A detached property sat on a generous plot that offers plenty of car parking space and the internal fit out and décor is of high quality.
"The restaurant offers plenty of scope to grow the business. It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced restaurateur to take the business forward, either with the current or alternative cuisine. The premises would also lend themselves well to a gastro pub.
"Internally there are spacious restaurant facilities with seating for up to 150 covers with a large bar and dining areas. The commercial kitchen is very well equipped. The lower ground floor contains the beer cellar, storage, office, staff toilets and stand-up fridge and freezers."
Hucknall Nub News has approached the current owner of Bella Mia for comment.
