The vaccination bus is returning to Hucknall next Tuesday (8 February).

It will be based at Piggins Croft Car Park on Yorke Street from 10am until 4pm.

A post on Ashfield District Council's Facebook page said: "This is for drop-ins only, just turn up on the day if you are eligible for your 1st, 2nd vaccine.

"Anyone aged 18 or over can use this service.

"If you are unsure, or have any questions, come and speak to a clinician on board the bus."

Speaking to Hucknall Nub News, Councillor Lee Waters, who represents Nottingham North at District level, for the Ashfield Independents, said: "Since January 2021, the Ashfield Independents have worked hard to improve access to vaccinations for residents in Hucknall. We are in regular communication with health bosses to do this.

"This latest visit is a result of that, and I would ask any local residents to pay the bus a visit. Grabbing a jab takes 2 minutes but it could save yours or others' lives."
