A local businesswoman who helps ladies rejuvenate their image, is hosting a pop-up shop in Hucknall on Saturday (19 March).

Helen Keightley, a qualified image consultant who lives in Papplewick, owns and runs Wardrobe Fairy Nottingham, which involves her visiting ladies in their own homes and helping them to declutter and organise their wardrobes. She also has her own online boutique.

However, Ms Keightley is keen to showcase the items of clothing she has in stock in person and is therefore holding the pop-up shop at the John Godber Centre on Ogle Street between 1:30 and 3:30 on Saturday afternoon.

She previously ran a pop-up shop at the same venue before Christmas on a Friday night.

Speaking exclusively to Hucknall Nub News, she said: "I'm hoping that a Saturday afternoon and that it's going to be a nice sunny day will be better because people are more likely to be out and about anyway so hopefully it'll be a bit more successful.

"It's all brand new ladieswear, none of it is second hand it's all as you would buy in a shop. It's normally just an online shop but I'm doing the pop-up just so people can actually come and see, feel and try on the quality of the clothes. There's ladieswear from a size eight to 20, there's cashmere scarves, leather handbags, jewellery, great ideas for Mother's Day presents, nice hoodies and all that kind of stuff so there's quite a varied collection."

There is also an opportunity for Hucknall Nub News readers to take advantage of a 10% discount which Ms Keightley is offering them.

"If people do come along and when they come to pay if they say that they heard about me on Hucknall Nub News, then I can give them a 10% discount; they just have to tell me when they pay."

Tom Surgay, Regional Editor of Hucknall Nub News added: "We are extremely grateful to Helen for offering Hucknall Nub News readers a generous 10% discount at her pop-up shop. Just remember to say you heard about the pop-up shop whilst reading our site.

"We aim to promote local businesses, so we hope that a lot of Helen's customers this weekend found out about the event because of us"
